To make a great product that customers want and love, people in tech companies need to be EXTREMELY passionate about what they're building.

You can see the passion and satisfaction that our CEO, Seth Phillips, gets from the work we're doing at Bound.

It's infectious! 😀

This is from a recent event, where Seth was speaking about Scaling as a leader as you scale your business.

Video transcript

I love getting in front of a customer. I love selling to a customer. I love meeting with our investors and pitching and selling our business and selling that dream.

I love getting my hands [dirty], like working with our engineers and sitting down and getting my hands into the product and improving that and making that better and seeing that improve, that's really valuable for me.

That is tactical. You change things, have this epiphany and say hey, wait a second if we got the product in this one section, we can rearrange how we're doing it. And it simplifies our product, simplifies our life, life for our customers. That's really rewarding - that creativity.

Almost, like I say, building with my hands. My dad always told me I would get, which I never got, was the satisfaction of building things with my hands. But maybe the analogy for me is building this in software.

I love the hustle and the grind. That's fun for me.
